GbR 2005 will provide a forum for presenting and discussing research results and applications in the intersection of pattern recognition and image analysis on one side and graph theory on the other side

Original and unpublished papers concerning the following topics are welcome:

• graph based clustering
• graph matching
• graph based image segmentation
• irregular (graph) pyramids
• graph representation of shapes
• graph abstraction
• graphs vs rigid structures (quadtrees, pyramids)
• graph transformations
• data mining with graphs

Several invited speakers will also present the state of the art in different domains related to the topics of the Workshop.

Prospective contributors are encouraged to submit papers and to attend GbR2005.

Each paper will be reviewed by at least two members of the program committee.
Accepted papers will be included in the proceedings of the workshop published by LNCS
Extended versions of selected contributions will be published in a special issue of Pattern Recognition journal .
